A copyeditor’s journey in pictures . . .

Nothing comes close to that feeling of holding in your hand the fruit of ten years of work!!

What started off as the Dictionary of South Asian Christianity Project of the Mylapore Institute of Indigenous Studies in Chennai came to fruition as the Oxford Encyclopedia of South Asian Christianity almost a decade later! Speaks volumes for the power a dream of one man and a small dedeicated team!

The learning from the the professionalised execution of the project, the disciplined team of editors, the years of planning the launch well before the manuscript was finalised, and the gala launch of South Asia Bible Commentary, released by the then Vice President of India – was a once in a lifetime experience.

Working with some of the strongest feminist theologians in Asia to create modules for Asian women to understand Asian feminist theologies, and working with the Editorial Advisory Committee of In God’s Image were experiences that shaped my writing skills, and the ability to work with teams of women to capture the author’s voice … pictures coming soon…
